Canada Youth 2012

“Didn’t we feel on fire as he conversed with us…” (Luke 24: 32 – The Message)

In July 2012, hundreds of young Presbyterians descended upon Brock University for the gathering of a lifetime. The event was a wonderful opportunity for our youth to connect with each other, with different leaders within our church, and with God.

Conference resources are now posted on the national site at www.canadayouth.ca for those interested in speaker biographies, the music and videos from the worship services, list of games and energizers used at the event, etc.

Based on the success of this year’s event, the PCC has released the following announcement:

“As a joyful response to the call to provide experiences that nurture faith, offer excellent Christian education, equips youth and adults for effective and faithful leadership and service, the Life and Mission Agency is pleased to announce that the next Canada Youth event will be held during the summer of 2014.

Canada Youth is a quality youth ministry program that is highly valued by our denomination. A biennial event provides additional opportunities for participation and a greater window for youth and youth leaders to attend. It allows for additional leadership training opportunities and a broad experience of the Church. The Church perpetually identifies youth, the mission of the Church, and leadership development/equipping as essential values. CY is intensely and intentionally focused on these three essential values.”
