Sandwich Program

Gordon Church, has in the past participated in the lunch programme that is run by Progressive Housing. No one has stepped forward to co-ordinate this ministry outreach of our church. The Ministry TEAM and the Session have decided to continue as best we could, by contributing $200.00 to the lunches. We will continue in this manner until the funds in this account run out ($2000) or someone volunteers to co-ordinate it.

Food Safe Course – April 27

Gordon Church will be offering a Food Safe Course on April 27, that will run from 9 to 4 pm. This course usually costs $90.00 but we have made arrangements that we only have to pay for the book and certificate ($15.00). We are limited to 20 people, make sure you sign up early. Please let Wilma or Cal know by April 16^th your desire to attend.

Prayer Group

A prayer group as been meeting on Saturday mornings at 10:30 in the church hall. This group germinated from the group that read and discussed the book unbinding the gospel. The group meets for ½ an hour and prays for our church. You may participate in this group, even if you did not read the book. All that is required is your time to come to the church and be with those who are praying.

5th Annual Jamboree – April 13

On Saturday, April 13th at 7 pm we will have Our 5th Annual Jamboree in the Lower Hall with lots of musical Entertainment. Dessert will be served. Admission by donation and all proceeds go into the Camp and Bursary Fund.
