Gordon is a church that is a member of the Presbyterian Church in Canada and part of the Westminster Presbytery. We are a Christian Church that believes in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and that scripture has been inspired by God. We have two sacraments: baptism and communion. The word Presbyterian refers to the manner in which we are governed. The roots of the Presbyterian church go back to the 1500’s.
At Gordon Church our Purpose is to:
- Encounter God and enjoy the presence of Jesus
- Encourage each other
- Engage in ministry; by being
- Energized by the Holy Spirit to reach out to others
